Welcome To Akila Bharath Nadar Education And Charity Trust

Founded to create and establish a public charitable Trust for the welfare of the Akhila Bharath Nadar Community. The registered office of the Trust is situated at Marthandam in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu, India. Nadar is one of the prominent castes of South India. The term ‘Nadar’ in Tamil literally means “One who rules the land”. The ancient capital city of Pandiya Nadu, KORKAI is predominantly occupied by the Nadars. After the Nayak invasion it is be lived that the nadars were almost wiped out and most of the nadars lost their wealth due to the invasion.

Nowadays only few are in wealthy status, others are still in very poor condition. To uplift the community people in the society, this trust has been formed, under the leadership of thiru P.P.M. Venugopal. Who is well versed with the society activities such as upward mobility. Education is the only way which helps the people to grow up. So that this trust is initiating institutions for the uplift of Hindu Nadars and other below downtrodden people. This trust is run by an efficient team with the support of well wishers residing at various places, funds are provided by well wishers by the way of donation. With these funds the development of poor people have been determined and to uplift them in proper direction. At present the trust belongs to 10 acres land in Ayya Vaikundar Nagar, Palliyadi Post, Kanyakumari District.
